First Day of School

Registration Required
All students must complete online registration before receiving a class schedule. Registration will be available July 1, 2026.
Returning Students
- Log in to Parent Portal.
- Click Resume Registration.
- Click Start Registration next to your child's photo.
- Review and update all required forms.
New Students
Create a Parent Portal account and contact the campus to provide required enrollment documents.

School supply requirements will be provided by individual teachers.
Daily Schedule Information
Doors Open: 7:15 AM
Breakfast: Students eating breakfast should arrive by 7:30 AM.
School Day: 7:50 AM–3:35 PM
Free Breakfast and Lunch
Fairfield ISD will provide free breakfast and lunch to all students during the 2026–2027 school year.
Although meals are free, every household is encouraged to complete the Income Survey to help the district receive proper funding and determine eligibility for additional student benefits.
Benefits may include:
- College application fee waivers
- ACT/SAT fee waivers
- Additional educational services and funding opportunities
Complete the Income Survey beginning July 15 at FISD Nutrition.
August breakfast and lunch menus will also be available on the same website.
Lunch and Campus Policies
- No outside food is permitted in the cafeteria.
- Fairfield High School is a closed campus.
- Students may not leave campus for lunch or routinely leave during the school day.
Arrival and Dismissal Reminders
Arrival
Students should enter the building immediately upon arrival. Loitering in vehicles or parking lots is not permitted.
Dismissal
Students should leave campus promptly after school and avoid lingering outside the building.

Volunteering at School:
- Classroom assistance: Help with activities, read to students, or assist with projects.
- School events: Volunteer at events like book fairs, fundraisers, or school dances.
- Library support: Help with shelving books or reading to students.
- Field trips: Accompany classes on educational outings.
Participating in School Organizations:
- Parent-Teacher Association (PTA): Attend meetings, participate in fundraising, and support school initiatives.
- School Site Council: Participate in decision-making processes. Requires a monthly time commitment for attending the council meeting.
