I graduated from Mexia High School in 1988.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1995.
I graduated from American Military University in 2014.
I hold a BS in history from UT Tyler. I hold an MA in military history with a concentration in WWII from AMU.
I came to FHS in the Fall of 2008. I currently teach Theatre Production, Dual Credit US History, Dual Credit Federal Government, and US Government/Economics. I taught Spanish at FJH from 1999 to 2008. I taught Spanish and English at Mexia High School from 1995 to 1999. I serve as Discipleship Pastor at Round Prairie Baptist Church in Fairfield. I am also an Adjunct Professor of History and Government at Navarro College.
I married the love of my life, Betsy, on June 25, 2016. We reside in Fairfield. She is the Assistant Principal of Fairfield Elementary School. We have an Olde English Bulldogge named Chester and two Miniature Schnauzers named Winnie and Hettie.
I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. I play the piano and love to read. I particularly like to read books that help me grow in my Christian faith and books about US history. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I seek to make the most of every day.
